Peterborough Business Network (PBN) was founded April 20/09, has 70 active members and has hosted 20 speed networking events. Meeting twice per month, PBN offers local business owners a unique networking position via our “Speed Networking Hour”. During these sessions, attendees are paired off to network for 5 minutes with someone they’ve never met before. After 5 minutes everyone switches. It is a great way to meet a lot of people in a short period of time. The agenda then provides one hour of open networking in which people can talk with whom they choose, un-cheorographed.
“Peterborough Moms Group” (PMG) was started on May 6/09 and has grown into a network of nearly 400 members. A great way for moms to make friends for themselves and their kids, this free membership social group has hosted hundreds of events and offer our members several daily activities to choose from, such as: various outings, playgroups, scrapbooking, discussion/support forums, craft days, walks, moms nights out, card nights, potluck get-togethers, workshops, mom2mom sales and more…
“Peterborough Women’s Network" (PWN) was started on May 27/10. With 20 members joining within the first week, this social friendship network for ladies 35 years and older, promises to be a great success and a fabulous way for mature women in Peterborough to connect.
